In a four-year deal, Telia has expanded Ericsson’s Radio Access Network (RAN) cooperation throughout its mobile networks in Sweden, Norway, Lithuania, and Estonia.
In addition to providing improved capabilities and increased network speeds, capacity, and coverage, the alliance will help future-proof Telia’s infrastructure and support creative commercial and mission-critical use-cases.
Telia’s improved network capabilities, which are based on Ericsson technology, are intended to assist the company’s autonomous networks agenda and accelerate innovation and efficiency for their clients in sectors including manufacturing and logistics.
The most recent Ericsson RAN capabilities will also assist Telia’s business- and mission-critical communications clients in sectors like public safety, defense, healthcare, transportation, and utilities. In its five direct-to-consumer markets, Telia oversees 26 million subscriptions.
