Mycom and Mavenir Join Forces on AI for 5G Automation

Mycom announced a new strategic partnership with US-based telecom software company Mavenir. The two companies plan to jointly develop advanced AI solutions aimed at improving how telecom operators manage 4G and 5G networks.

The collaboration will focus on building “Agentic AI” use cases designed to help telecom companies detect, diagnose, and fix network issues faster through automation. The goal is to reduce downtime, improve service quality, and make network operations more efficient for communications service providers (CSPs)

Mycom provides AI, data, and automation solutions that help telecom operators monitor network performance, manage faults, and ensure service quality. Its tools are already used by some of the world’s largest telecom providers. Mavenir, on the other hand, is known for its cloud-native, AI-powered networking software that helps operators automate and modernize their mobile core networks.

Through this partnership, the two companies will integrate their AI systems so they can work together more seamlessly. Mycom’s network operations tools will connect with Mavenir’s AI-driven network agents to allow more autonomous and semi-autonomous management of network performance issues. This means certain network problems can be identified and resolved automatically, reducing the need for manual intervention.

Both companies bring significant industry experience. Mycom has more than 25 years of expertise working with complex telecom networks worldwide. Mavenir supports over 300 telecom operators across more than 120 countries, collectively serving more than half of the world’s mobile subscribers.

The partnership reflects a broader industry shift toward intelligent, automated, and programmable telecom networks, as operators look for faster, more efficient ways to manage growing 4G and 5G infrastructure demands.

“Mycom’s partnership with Mavenir is about defining how Agentic AI is operationalized at scale,”

said Mounir Ladki, Co-founder, President and CTO at Mycom.

“We are creating a structured blueprint that enables CSPs to activate the full value of their existing workflows and data ecosystems through a multi-agentic AI blueprint and concrete end-to-end use cases. Our objective is to make multi-agent collaboration a deployable reality within live networks, accelerating the industry’s transition from assisted automation to truly autonomous operations.”
