Salesforce and OpenAI have announced an expanded strategic partnership to create a new generation of employee and customer experiences, powered by Salesforce’s Agentforce 360 and OpenAI’s frontier models.
This remarkable partnership enables businesses to retrieve the Agentforce 360 platform within ChatGPT, facilitating users to check sales archives, evaluate interactions, and create Tableau visuals by simple inputs.
Enterprises can develop personalized prompts and AI agents within the Salesforce Platform by utilizing OpenAI’s upgraded frontier models. Additionally, a new commerce experience will enable shared customers to sell to hundreds of millions of U.S. users in ChatGPT while maintaining complete control over their processes, data, and customer relationships.
The SaaS landscape is improving, migrating to multi-surface, agent-based experiences from standalone point-and-click applications.
This partnership accelerates that transformation by combining OpenAI’s frontier models with Salesforce’s data-powered enterprise workflows across ChatGPT and Slack, which together serve over 800 million weekly users and handle 5.2 billion weekly messages.
The integration makes it seamless for Salesforce and OpenAI customers to access enterprise-grade AI directly within their preferred platforms.
“Our partnership with Salesforce is about making the tools people use every day work better together, so work feels more natural and connected. It’s an important step in how AI can improve daily workflows under our efforts together,”
said Sam Altman, Co-founder and CEO of OpenAI.
“As consumers, we already get instant recommendations or insights from ChatGPT,”
said Marc Benioff, Chair and CEO of Salesforce.
“Now enterprises can deliver that same intelligence and immediacy. By uniting the world’s leading frontier AI with the world’s #1 AI CRM, we’re creating the trusted foundation for companies to become Agentic Enterprises.”
